Taking care of appliances
-- Always pick up the retainer with clean hands.
-- Wear it for long periods according to the doctor's instructions.

-- If it collects salts from your saliva over time, you may need auxiliary cleaning tablets (e.g Corega) to clean it, found in the pharmacy.
-- Always keep it in its special case. Not in pockets, napkins or tissues. It can easily be thrown in error!
-- Do not put it on and take it out continuously like a toy. It comes loose and does not hold the teeth properly.
-- Keep it away from pets. They like to chew on it!
